Core Capabilities
We design and enable advanced manufacturing processes by integrating materials, processes, and intelligent control.

Fusion-Based (Re)Manufacturing
We deliver advanced manufacturing and remanufacturing solutions using fusion-based processes, including welding and additive manufacturing technologies such as Directed Energy Deposition (DED). Building on over 25 years of experience in fabrication, industrial construction, and engineered production systems across aerospace, energy, and critical industries, we combine proven manufacturing practices with advanced materials, automation, and intelligent execution strategies. Our capabilities support prototype development, low-rate initial production (LRIP), and scalable manufacturing for both innovative product developers and engineering-driven industrial projects.
Advanced Alloy Engineering
We develop advanced metallic materials and functionally graded engineering solutions for demanding and multi-conditional service environments. Our work includes titanium and zirconium alloys, aerospace-grade stainless steels and aluminum alloys, superalloys, and emerging high entropy alloy (HEA) systems. Beyond composition control, we explore localized microstructural engineering approaches — including dynamic recrystallization and process-assisted grain refinement — to create tailored material responses across different regions of a component. These capabilities enable next-generation graded solutions where material behavior, manufacturability, and operational performance must coexist within a single engineered structure.

At Ion Fusion, we are redefining industrial manufacturing with our state-of-the-art WAAM technologies. By leveraging advanced alloy technologies, we deliver custom, high-performance metal components that reduce material waste and shorten production cycles. Partner with us to build resilient, future-ready solutions for your most demanding applications.
